FACE LIFT
(Rhytidectomy):
This procedure lifts the face and neck in one operation. This surgery
is requested by both men and women of various ages. A very common
procedure, this involves removing loose skin from the neck and face,
and repositioning the underlying facial tissue to reclaim a natural
youthful texture, and create a fresh, rejuvenated look. As with
all facial surgery, some swelling and bruising will occur, fading
gradually over time.
NOSE RECONSTRUCTION
(Rhinoplasty):
Changing the external dimensions of the nose is one of the most
common aesthetic surgeries performed at SSCS. A Rhinoplasty can
enlarge or reduce the size of the nose, change the shape of the
tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the
angle between the nose and upper lip. In the vast majority of cases,
there is no visible scarring as incisions are made inside the nose.
In the case of narrowing wide nostrils, barely noticeable scars
will appear at the base of the nostrils.
While individual results may vary, most patients
see a more aesthetically appealing nose upon removal of their bandages
(five-to-seven days after surgery), with the final appearance taking
roughly six-to-twelve months due to the gradual healing process.
Nasal surgery can also alleviate certain medical
ailments, such as breathing difficulties, or correct imperfections
due to injury or birth defects.
FACIAL
RESURFACING
Dermabrasion and dermaplaning help to "refinish"
the skin's top layers through a method of controlled surgical scraping,
making it appear much smoother. The treatments soften the sharp
edges of surface irregularities, giving the skin a smoother appearance.

Dermabrasion is most often used
to improve the look of facial skin left scarred by accidents or
previous surgery, or to smooth out fine facial wrinkles, such as
those around the mouth. It's also sometimes used to remove the pre-cancerous
growths called keratoses. Dermaplaning is commonly used to treat
deep acne scars.
EYELID SURGERY (Blepharoplasty):
Blepharoplasty can both satisfy aesthetic desires and clear up medical
problems. Its purpose is to remove fat, usually along with excess
skin, from the upper and lower eyelids, thus correcting "hooding"
upper lids and puffy bags under the eyes, which can interfere with
your vision as well as make you look older. Blepharoplasty, however,
will not remove crow's feet, general wrinkling, sagging eyebrows,
or dark circles below the eyes, which can be corrected using the
Ultra Pulse(R) laser. As with face lifts, incisions are placed as
to make scarring as inconspicuous as possible and there will be
some bruising and swelling which usually heals in one-to-two weeks.
EAR CONTOURING
(Otoplasty):
Changing the shape and contour of the ear can help eliminate protruding
or overly prominent ears. Sometimes referred to as "pinning
back" the ears, otoplasty allows the ears to lie flatter against
the head. It can be performed on anyone; however, it is usually
recommended at ages five or six, when ear growth is normally completed.
Because incisions are made behind the ear, any resulting scarring
is hidden from view.
